Young American tenor Brandon Jovanovich is one of a new breed of artists currently making a mark in the major opera houses of the world.

From a 2010 debut as Don Jose at the Metropolitan Opera opposite Olga Borodina in Carmen to a role debut as Bacchus with the Boston Lyric Opera in Ariadne auf Naxos and a Luigi in San Francisco Opera’s, Il Tabarro, conducted by Patrick Summers, Brandon is being kept extraordinarily busy as he adds new roles to his already impressive repertoire.

He has already played Boris in Katya Kabanova opposite Karita Mattila, and Pinkerton in noteable productions with the Dallas Opera and Santa Fe Opera and internationally, he has played Steva in the Bayrische Staatsoper’s production of Janáček’s Jenůfa.

Blessed with a voice that continues to receive glowing reviews wherever he sings, good looks and excellent acting abilities, Brandon appears set for a major operatic career.
