Latonia Moore is an up and coming American soprano with a lovely creamy lyric soprano voice.

She began singing in the church choir where her grandfather was a preacher – typically studying gospel and jazz. After retraining in opera she graduated in 2005.  Her debut was in West Palm Beach in 1998.

Her repertoire includes Donna Anna in Don Giovanni, Lucrezia, Lucrezia Borgia, Violetta in La Traviata, Marguerite in Faust, and Tatiana in Eugene Onegin.

She appeared at the Dresden Semper Opera as Mimi in La Bohème and as Micaela in Carmen in Dallas and in the New York City Opera.  She debuted at London's Royal Opera in Covent Garden as Lui in Turandot and has sung Aida' at the Hamburg State Opera, at Covent Garden and the Met.

Ms Moore has recorded Mahler’s 2nd Symphony on Deutche Grammophon.  Her Metropolitan Opera debut as Aida in a live broadcast in 2012 replacing Violetta Urmana at short notice, received tumultuous acclaim.

At this time Ms Moore’s future looks very bright indeed!
